Hi folks
total newbie here...hope someone can advise...
...when my Samsung 8000 series LED tv arrives, I'd like to connect it to my Icon Audio MB845 / Wilson 5.1 / Audiolab 8000c hifi system. But the tv has (astonishingly) no RCA/phono outputs, but a single 'digital audio' out. The Audiolab is strictly RCA I think, it being 1997 vintage.
Is there a connector I can use? Or do I need a new preamp? Happy to pay up to £1500 if need be.(I've no real interest in surround-sound - don't need it with Wilson speakers!).
I see the new Sony tvs have RCAs, so this is a serious omission imho. Samsung website is utterly useless for answering this question...
regards Chris
