    Hi,

Seems like a simple question, what with Sony spouting it as a simple but useful little addon. When in fact, in reality, there is nothing more impossible.

Now I have enabled atrac or whatever its called, Set up the settings for Remote Play and got that working (for all its pointless uses), However cant for love nor money get the PSP to work as a controller.

The PS3 realises its there as I can watch films and music off of it.

The manual (obviously) says nothing about it.

    Any ideas?

Simple. You can't use it as a controller at least not at the present time.

Though even if you could, it'd be a bloody expensive controller!

Sounds similar to using to Sony saying 2 PSPs could be used as wing mirrors in F1. Nice in theory, but not much use in practice.

    RDB :)

Its more of a benefit if you dont have controllers for those people and they have PSP's. But it was silly of me to think Sony would actually live up to their promises.

I assume you mean people that don't have enough controllers. As anyone with a PS3 and no controller for it, would have an expensive doorstop I would have thought.

Almost as plausable as having dual output on the PS3 to the two HDTV's we all have in out living rooms! :D

    One comes in the box...

Its strange to me how people think the idea of them using their psp as a controller is so absurd? It has onboard memory therefore allowing their own progress in PS3's to be brought across to the house they have gone to, not to mention since the PS3 can accept 7 controllers and I doubt too many people will bother buying that many, it keeps the cost down for those to whom own them.

I only have 1 controller at present (another on the way) so the ability to have my freinds (both whom own PSPs) still be able to play was a great idea, one that Sony decided not to bother with.

In that scenario then, it doesn't sound as absurd as first thought then. Saying that though, as you say Sony have doen their usual trick... makes you wonder why we bother really.

One of the main reasons I will buy the PS3 is to use it as a Music Server feeding my Hi-Fi throughout my home. From what I have read you should be able to display the PS3 screen on a PSP and be able to select what music you want to listen to wirelessly. So the idea of sitting at my desk in my office and wirelessly selecting what music to listen to with a PSP will be brilliant.

OR AM I TALKING TOTAL RUBBISH !!
