Apologies if this is in the wrong forum..first post.
I have had a sony dvp-s435 dvd player for 2 years and have just bought a limit hc-40rvs theatre system from richersounds, problem is the dvd only has 2 audio output sockets and one socket for a subwoofer.DVD is 5.1 comp,so it says ,so how do i connect it up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks Andy

Does the Limit have a digital coax or optical connector on it? If so, use the relevant output on your DVD player to connect them together.

Plug your speakers and sub into the Limit and you should be sorted.

Thanks for the reply.
No all it has is L & R Aux and 6 5.1 audio input sockets

Thanks, thought it might come to that.
So the question i have now is the dvd player has coaxial and optical connections, and speakers have 6 audio input.
Would it be better to upgrade dvd or take back the speakers and get something that will connect either optically or coaxial.
Many thanks for your time
Andy
