I have a Denon AVR-790 that I'm trying to hook up with my Polk PSW110 subwoofer. The subwoofer has line-in inputs and takes two RCA lines. The Denon AVR-790 has a sub-out output which looks like a single RCA output.
I already have a speaker wire going from the AVR-790 to the PSW110 with banana plugs on both ends, but I don't think that is going to work. The Denon manual mentions using a RCA Y-splitter and connecting to both plugs on the subwoofer.
I'd like to avoid running more cable if possible, but is there any easy way to set this up? Would a RCA to speaker wire adapter work on both ends of the wire and then a y-splitter on the subwoofer end? If so, where is a good place to buy these parts?
Thanks in advance.
