:suicide: I’m a bit confused with the info on AV-SALES which states that the NEC VR5 has a resolution of 1024 x 1024 but on NEXNIX it stated as Resolution 853 x 480 does any one know what’s what or am I being dense and are there any advantages at the moment to go for higher Rez. :suicide: :suicide:

Well to be honest there was the issue of HD but in truth I just decided the NEC. You can only read so much about this. I like the Pany 7 but I got a bit confused with what board I need and connections. I run a simple ship I have the Panasonic SC-HT870 & just normal Sky box the Pace and a Panasonic VCR. I was going to call AV for advice but was a bit embarrassed if I did not understand all the Tech jargon.

thats what they are there for (GET paid for) NEC is no easier, can be worse as it has far more connections on the panel most of which you will not use/need.......

    Zoltan,

If you can get down to NexNix in Horsham they have the NEC VR5 and the XR3(HD version), a Panny PW6 and Hitatchi 5200 on demo. I think it is one of the only shops that have a Panny and the NEC together so you can get a direct comparison on which one is best.
