As title. I've got a CA 540R azur reciever and I'm attempting to set up the crossover point for the sub. Now the indication goes from -10db to 0db I think, can some kind person here explain which is the best setting for a crossover of about 120-140 hz? I have no idea which is which, ie is -10db lower Xover or is 0db the lower. The manual is about as much use as a third armpit here and just says "adjust as required" yeah right, if I knew what it did, I'd adjust it.

The CA540r (v1) has a fixed sub xover. What you're mentioning is not the xover, but the volume trim setting for the sub channel.

I believe it's xover is fixed to 80hz. The 540r V2 does actually have a selactable xover.

I was under the impression that "LFE" is the Xover function, I have a separate option for subwoofer volume level
