Hey guys I just finished my Undergrad Engineering degree on Electronics and Communication. I really want to get into audio and video field, but quite confused. In India the market is very less moreover we do not have much audio industry here.

I would like to know which courses will help me to get into speaker designing and creation. If not a projector company.

I am totally amazed by the ways you design speakers in DIY sections.

    I’m confused too.

Firstly this is a UK forum so you won’t find a lot of knowledge about the industry and training options in India.

Secondly, and mostly, you have a degree in engineering. Surely if there are opportunities in audi and video engineering in India then you don’t need anything more, just apply for them.

If such opportunities in your country don’t exist then having additional training courses under your belt isn’t going to help.

    Cheers,

    Nigel

So you have done your research, found a few audio companies in India. What did they say to you when you asked them for a job?

They actually never gave me a reply.
Worst part there are only film institutions that provide education on audio. But that's into mixing sounds more than acoustics.

As above, you may be better off looking for a more local forum to ask in. The UK employment market in general is fairly different from India, USA etc in my experience as we typically place much less importance on formal education than other countries. As an example, of my UK peers most have an undergrad degree and a couple have an ACCA (accounting qualification) whereas of my USA almost all have a post grad degree with most being MBAs.
