Ok, this really bugs me - my sister's postcode can get Sky's 3 for £30 (TV, broadband, phone). My mum's postcode, 10 miles away, can't, apparently because she can't get their free Base 2MB broadband - it says she can only get the 8MB Sky Connect broadband which is £17 a month. My question is WHY? If Sky can technically pump broadband into her house, why can't she get the free Base package? I could see the point if she couldn't get broadband at all, but she can (she's on BT Yahoo's 2Mb service just now). Why can they give her 8Mb for 17 a month but not 2Mb for free?
