    Hey all,
Im really confused, ive been reading so much about the technicalities of plasmas and every answer leads to 2 more questions.

The 1024x1024 resolution is a square (right?). But, how does that work on a 16:9 screen, does the picture appear very squashed, i.e stretched horizontally?

I mainly want to use the plasma as a computer monitor so im thinking would I be better going for a 1024x768 resolution as its more of a rectangular shape (and therefore would fit on a 16:9 screen better?).

If this has already been covered id really appreciate a link or something, as I cant find much in the search.

    Thanks!
    Jezz.

Depends on the shape of the pixels. If each pixel (or more properly, trio of pixels) is 16x9 in shape then you get a 16x9 screen overall.
