    Hi to all
Could anyone give a link to a list of films that feature the "full" bitrate (1536kbps) DTS soundtracks?

I have several DTS movies in my collection, but are these higher bitrate versions only just becoming available?

All these of mine carry DTS tracks:
    Gladiator R2
    Daredevil R2
    Blade2 R2
    Die Another Day R2
    Dracula Superbit R2

    T2 Ultimate Edition R1
    Pitch Black R1
    Stargate Ultimate Ed R1
    Predator R1
    Point Break R1

Are all of these 512 or 768 - and how do you determine?

Are these 1536kbps soundtracks only on imports from the far east? Are the differences enough to notice (subjective I know)?

    Any clarifications welcomed.

    Hi. :)

None of the movies you list are full bitrate DTS :(

Some full bitrate DTS ones include

    Apollo 13 R1
    12 Monkeys R1
    Waterworld R1
Dances With Wolves R2 Jap./R3 Korea
    Dante's Peak R1
    The Sixth Day R2 Jap
    Total Recall R2 Jap

Plus many more! I think all Superbit titles have half bitrate DTS tracks.

The way I tell is by using WinDVD. Click on the arrow on the right of the user display just to the right of the words "Inter Video", then click "Display", then the spanner in the lower right corner, and then "Information, where the bitrate is shown, even if WinDVD cannot play the DVD in DTS!

    Hope that's clear! :)

Oh, and to my ear and using my set up, yes I can here a difference, although, usually not a marked difference!

Oh, again!!! have a look here

I do think the full rate DTS tracks are audibly better, Hero R3 2-disc being a prime example.

Thanks, bowenjones. It seems, at first glance, that talking about DTS 754kb as "half bit rate" is perfectly reasonable! Unless, or until, DTS up their full bit rate beyond the 1.5kb for home cinema!!

    Cheers,
