The man from Sky is coming round to install a Sky+ Box. I have a Panasonic Plasma TH-37PWD4, which has a Terminal board fitted. I think what I need to connect the Sky+ to the panny for best PQ is a Scart to RGB cable, then use separate phono cables to connect the Sky+ audio output to my Altec Lansing speakers. Is this correct, will it avoid the dreaded lip-synch problem, and is there a better solution?

    Cheers chums,

    Ben

General consensus is that for the very best picture you should use a JS RGB to VGA adapter. The more devices that you can daisy chain the better but you can either buy a scart switch box or use a component switch on your HC amp/receiver.

It all depends what else you have to connect up.

I'm not familiar with your Altec lansing setup. Does it have an amp with optical input? If so that would be best for sound. If there is no amp then you will certainly need one.
