Does anyone know how I can connect my audigy 2 soundcard to a yamaha amp and still get a digital signal (5.1). i.e. what lead I need and how i connect it (I assume I connect it to the coaxal input on the amp). Also any ideas where I can get the cable

    Much appreciated

    No problem :)

Best of luck with it. Make sure you enable SPDIF passthrough on your DVD playing software & set your soundcard to also pass SPDIF (start, programs, creative audio HQ....).

I'd like to add my thanks too. I didn't post a question 'cause a search gave me the answer. 99 pence fix, now that doesn't happen very often!
