Oh my God!!! Amazing news - I have vague memories of this film and would love to see it again. I remember the bit where Condorman is being chased by bikers and he flips the shell of his car and flys off....or something like that.

Anyway brilliant - I'll definately be ordering this :D.

What a classic James.:D You've made my day!

''I love it when a film like this comes together''. :D I remember this, brings back some childhood memories, its strange when you forget about films like this and the feeling you get when its mentioned years later. Class.:)

I too recall this. In fact, I went to the pictures to see it:eek: Oddly, the bird costume isn't ringing any bells but the car chase with the laser shoot-fest is fairly clear. Oh this is conjuring other stuff, like the original Gone In Sixty Seconds. Good times.
It was fun but I wonder if it's yet another of those best left to golden days memories...

I predict seeing a few copies turning up in the trading forums! I find that certain films are best kept as fond memories, the reality often ruins those memories! I'll be very interested in reading any reviews once it's been released - anyone fancy reviewing for my site?!

Loved this film when I was young. Yes it has just been released R2. He used to shout CONDORMAN when he was saving ppl. He used to draw comics and have a female side kick who was actually his love interest. Probably very dated now like the Spiderman tv series but from what I remember it was good back then.

I've seen this a few times, in terms of greatness its up there with the original Spiderman movie. Nice sound track, lets hope it gets the full DD/DTS treatment.

I don't know what it is about this thread but there's a definite draw toward it. And, each time I've been here, I keep hearing this almost subliminal piano piece playing...[IMG]

I used to watch this over and over on tape....saw it at cinema when it came out in 1980 (i think). The car chase with the black porsches!! Michael Crwaford leaping off the first stage of the Eiffel Tower at the start!! His yellow bird costume with the incredibly visible white wires holding it up!! His walking stick that fires bullets (that he can't control most of the time) Michael breathing fire after he drinks a particularly hot cocktail in a restaurant! Barbara Carreras (?) one of my first crushes!!

    Those were the days!
