My comment in this thread about the terrible copy of Con Air that I have set me thinking: What's the best region / release of this film on DVD?

UK's a flipper, are all R1's like my copy (see the thread above). Other regions?

Thanks,

Mattie

Ive seen Con Air on R2 and have to say its one of the best DVD's picturewise Ive seen.

Is he the one?

The NTSC LD is rather good

Thanks for the replies. LD is a no go for me - I bought into home cinema a couple of years ago (with insurance money from big burglary) and went DVD only. Badass, am I right in thinking the R2 is a flipper? Or the nagging worry about a lipsync problem? (I have earlier Pioneer, problem was visible on R2 Face/Off for me)

Thanks.

Have to agree with Duncan, the NTSC LD is good enough to warrant me NOT buying this movie on DVD.

I have replaced most of my LD collection now but Con Air is one I still keep watching and the sound and picture are superb.

I am sure Con Air is not a flipper on R2 any more, if it ever was?

Picture quality is ok but there are no extras?
