    Hi ya,

I'm not sure where to post this, but seeing that there has been a lot of talk about DVI/VGA and HDMI in this side of the forum, I thought I'll post it here.

I have a 21" VGA CRT as well as a 20" 2001FP Dell TFT. I was thinking of getting the JS RGB to VGA converter and plug an Xbox/Freeview via Scart converted to VGA onto them.

    Is that possible?

    Thanks

My apologies to the moderators if this is posted in the wrong forum.

    Pretty sure not.

The RGB to VGA will split the sync signal into the right type, but the actual video data is at too low a frequency for a PC monitor (most PC monitors will only sync down to a horizontal frequency of 37.5KHz whereas RGB from say a Sky box will be 15KHz).

If your XBox and freeview box had s-video , you could try something like a this
