Can anyone help???

Just put the latest NVIDIA drivers on
& Win 7 SP1

Will monitor...

Running ASUS SmartDoctor and GPU temps at idle are about 45-50 ded F

No offense but this is a very one sided discussion....:D

You seem to know what your doing. If you re-installed windows and it still doesnt work, then it could be a hardware problem.

My old GPU had a problem and it would over heat and shut down.

Got a new card since then and never had a problem.
