    Hi,

I am looking for a hi-end component video lead, about £40-80 quid. I know some are about £200 , that too much.

I have seen these IXOS leads

    171AV 3 RCA to 3 RCA

Are these worth getting, and does anyone know the price and a place to order from in UK, phone or website.

Or are there other better leads in the price range.

    regards

    rai

i have an audioquest yiq1 which was £100 and its a brilliant lead. i was always a bit wary of leads but the pic from my tosh dvd into toch tv is MUCH better now! i think that sevenoaks sell them or you can have a look at their website for distributors. also, chord comapny, black rhodium and i think that QED also make component lead up to about £100ish.

    Hi
Why dont you buy Van damme red 4 core coax and solder some good quality gold RCA plugs on and bingo!! as good as anything for £200. Will cost you about £20 all in.

I got VanDamme 10m component cables from Joe Fernand for £42 delivered. Nicely made, especially if you're no good at soldering!

Good advice, or you could buy good quality RG59 / RG 6 and put you own plugs one. Cable 50p/m! It will match anything discussed above (yes inc £200 ones). Not a DIYer speak to Joe.

Have a look at the Profigold PV332 from Superfi. A friend just got this cable to connect to his Tosh TV and rates them (as do some of the mags). There are about £35/m.

Joe's cables are by far easily the best deal!
Van Damme stuff has proven itself to me. Why pay more?
Just get in touch with him at least and you'll be happy you did.
