    it means it accepts RGB signals with the sync signal merged into the green signal (not sure if thats the most technical explanation).

    by component i assume you mean YPbPr component (also YUV). the type used by most dvd players.

    RGB (RGsB in this case i believe) is also classed as component video but not the well known type!

    i think that board may accept YUV as well but i have no experience there so ill leave it to the heavyweights
