I just picked myself up a pioneer 575 last night and am looking to run it on progressive scan via component to vga.
Now ive found a cable which says it can handle it now problem "The synch issue is dealt with as long as the output device (usually DVD Player) outputs its signal in progressive scan." however i have also found a little box of tricks which seems to be the better option.
Question being is it worth me spending the more money on what seems to be a sure thing or go with the cable (will it still work?)
    Cheers guys!
