Component > VGA 10m?

Hi there all, I have a long room and a projector, I want my games console (gamecube) to be near the screen but connect it to my projector at the other end. Ive found a component cable for my gamecube to buy (very rare) but now need to traverse the 10m or so to the projector but that only has a VGA input. Is it possible to get an adaptor to a long VGA cable?

You need a converter to go from component to VGA, such as this:

That is often true, but not always. for the PJ and see if the VGA input can be set to accept YUV Component. If it can then you just need a lead, but if not then a converter will be required.
