I know this isnt really to do with progressive but i guess the main reason people use these is because they don't have a progressive component input on their display device so I thought I would ask in here.

where can i get a component to rgb transcoder in the UK ??
One that will auto switch interlaced and progressive and take at least 720p.

I will order from the states if i have to but wondered if anyone had bought, say, the key-digital one over here ?

I am the Key Digital distributor in the UK. The first batch of transcoders are just passing through customs just now. I'd contact Roland at B4 Projection as he's getting a large portion of the first stock and I'm out of country for 7 days at CES. The device will work with 480/576/720P as well as 480/576/1080i

Roland doesn't read this forum so email him direct at sales@b4projection.co.uk

If you want to wait a week or so more dealers will be on line once I get back. Ivojo, PJ-HiFi, Convergent-AV, The Media Factory and Eric's company are all Key Digital UK dealers with more to follow

Lucky BS going to CES :). Just a point on the resolution support, will these devices support 480i and display on a VGA monitor? I didn't think that this would work? Or did you mean plasma/projector?

    Thanks,
    Neil.
