Component to Scart?

Hi,

this is all new to me , so please be gentle.

I have a Panasonic DRE-S20 DVR. This has component out which I understand would give the best signal, but my television does not have component connections.

Am I best just to use scarts (with RGB signal) or is it possible to get a cable that will go from the component out from the DVR to the scart on the television?

Component is only best if your television can make use of it. (as it typically enables progressive scan, or high definition outputs)

A Component > SCART converter would not result in an image quality increase on your television. (probably actually worse, due to the conversion going on)

Stick with a good RGB cable.
