    Hello all,

are these cables suitable for connecting sky+, dvd and video into an amplifier, they idea being that I will use a separate cable for each box, into separate channels in the amp.

    Hope this makes sense.
    Many thanks.

i'm probably looking for too simple a solution, but i was hoping that could employ a scart to component cable, along with the suitable audio cables, and connect my sky+, dvd and video (individually) into an amplifier, as yet undetermined, and then component output to a panasonic pt300 pj.

After lots of reading, mostly here i'm more confused than ever. What a hobby (addiction) this home cinema is?

S-video is more suitable for Shy+ or RGB>YUV converter VHS has to be composite so you will need to run 2 or 3 cables to the PJ i reconmend running S-video to PJ anyway as it is ud=sed for amp OSD etc and consoles, Pc's etc.
