hi i am trying to find a component switcher which doesnt cost the earth have come across this any views or info greatfull have xbox360 in component and would like to add nintendo wii throgh component thanks in advance dean

Do a search on "wii component switchbox" or "wii component switch" etc. and all sorts of threads will turn up and give you some pointers as to which switching units work with the wii. I got one of these for a solution at a place I worked at but it's expensive. Worked though!

As davepuma points out the Wii can be a problem with lots of the very low cost Switch gear.

The JS Tech Master Component Controller will work (assuming you only require a 2x1 unit) - see http://www.js-technology.com/produc...id=49&osCsid=9be464b04008b4b7478628e8b1617222

If you want to switch more than Two Sources then the Zektor HDS4.1 is ideal.

MAPLINS,ive just bought a 4 in 1 out component switch for £49.99,and it works a treat.it is a passive one so doesnt need a power source.ps3,hd-dvd,denon 1930 and a jvc hdd all work with it.

It's the wii that is the problem with component switching units....

thanks for advise and links didnt really want to pay £50.for a switcher but i suppose you get what you pay for
