I have a Toshiba DVD player that has component video outputs on it. My question is, if I connect it to the TV via a component>scart lead will this offer any picture improvement over the standard scart>scart leads?

Please post your TV make and model and DVD player model and also where you're located. Someone should be able to help you then ;)

Hi there, your TV can't accept component video signals, so what you suggest wouldn't work. Your best option is the one that you're using: RGB via SCART :)

Yeah thought it might be pushing it a bit. I may well invest in a decent IXOS scart though. Thanks
