Can anyone give me their views on the improvement in visual quality from an RGB Scart to Component connections assuming good quality cables. I'm looking at a 28ZD06B Tosh against a Panny TX28PL10. Will I see a better picture with the component Tosh over the RGB Scart Panny from any DVD with Component out ?

    Many Thanks

    John

Opinions vary between component giving a marginal improvement over RGB SCART, to none at all. Some even say RGB is better. If the Tosh could take progressive scan it would be worth going for the component, but as it is I wouldn't base your choice on this.

RGB SCART into a Philips pixel plus, now there's a hell of a picture.
