    Hi all,
I was curious for all of you who have attached their DVD player through component connections to their plasma the following questions.

    1. what dvd player and plasma do you have
    2. how much is the current price of the dvd player right now ?
    3. do you use progressive scan, if not why not ?

I have a Panny PW7 37 inch, Pioneer 2750 70 quid dvd player and I use progressive scan, even though its a cheap player I think the pq enhances a lot !

I will be changing in the next few weeks so this is my current set up buddy..

    Panny 50PHw5
Harman/Kardon DVD25 via component always on PScan (sold for £350 2 years ago). PS is entrely brillaint and I wont even look at interlaced on my present set up.

    My next purchase will be

new Fujitsu 40 series 50" or Panny series 8 50" (if im not impressed by the Fujitsu) plus a scaler at some point.

Denon DVD2920 HDMI output or Arcam DiVa HDMI output

in 2006 i'm going all HD with the Sky HD box and a HD DVD!!!

    reagrds
