I recently purchased the Pioneer 575 and am well happy with it, but now I want a tv with component input so I can benefit from the progressive scan.

The problem is that I prefer the natural picture of 50Hz tv's and really dislike the digital processed picture of 100Hz tv's. I can only find component inputs on the 100Hz tv's though.

Are there any 50Hz tv's out there with comp' inputs?

    Or is it not possible.

Progressive scan isn't supported by interlaced 50hz tv's, they only accept interlaced signals.

There's no reason why 50hz sets shouldn't have component inputs (although I'm not aware of any that do) but they would only accept an interlaced component signal.
