Component Lead Question

Both the component terminals on my DVD player and TV are marked "YPbPr". Do I have to worry about getting a wrong component lead or are they all the same? By wrong, I mean are there different variants of a component lead, as there are of component: YPbPr or YCrCb ... ?

Thanks

YPbPr is compliant with YCbCr or YUV. Therefore Green to Y, Blue to Pb/Cb and Red to Pr/Cr. Hope this helps.

Yeah, but there's only one type of component cable, right?

Err...yes, not including different connectors.

Yes, there is no difference in cables for YPrPb, YCrCb or YUV, all can be grouped under the term "Component".

You can use any video cable (75 Ohm impedance) for this purpose, including those that have yellow RCA connectors instead of red, green and/or blue.
