Posted a thread some days ago about setting up my Tosh 36. I've just received my component video lead and optical lead and connected both. The picture quality is absolute crap but the sound is fine. I don't think for one moment it's a faulty lead . More likely something I've missed. Picture is very pink with a ghosting effect. Checked through manuals for both TV and DVD and followed setup menus etc. Anyone have any ideas?

Perhaps you've missed the set-up for component out on the DVD player?

Feeding an incorrect (colour) source into the component i/p's normally causes a strong bias to one colour.
