Component Inputs = Progressive Scan?

    Is this true? If a tv has component imputs then it automaticaly will do progressive scan, even 50hz units?

    Apoligies if this is a simplistic question:blush:

    There are different types of component input.

    While many can be configured to accept interlaced or progressive,
    there are some component inputs that will only accept an interlaced signal.
