    Hi guys...

Does anyone know where I can get a decent component to DVI cable?

The reason I ask is I currently have My Sony DVD player connected to my Philips 32" LCD by an IXOS 601 RGB scart lead, but understand the DVD player doesn't output progressive signal over scart only over component. The TV accepts component through its DVI input. Hope this makes sense and I hope someone makes the cable I need :D

Will I notice the difference between the scart RGB and the component?

    Thanks for any help!

    Phil,

Your 9986 should have come with the neccessary adapter. If it didn't it may be a v1.3 Firmware model that doesn't support Progressive over Component. The adapter is a clumsy thing, but it works very well...

    Jimmy,

I have the v2.3 which is the latest version, it came with a crappy all in one lead thing, was wondering if there was a better option.

    Cheers

That looks superb! Good one Phill...nice to see somebody makes one of these. The standard adapter is a crummy thing, but it works quite well....Are you going to try and get one? Ebay can be a bit dodgy.....
