Hello all, i'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to Home Cinema and any help would be appreciated

I have a Sony KZ42-TS1 and a DAV-S550 Home Cinema and was wondering if i could use a component connection directly or would i need some sort of converter.

Also if possible could anybody recommend any good quality cables to use.

    Cheers,
    Ade

I don't know the kit in question, but does either or both have a component connection.

If neither then I thinks its highly unlikely

    Hi,

I think both of these have component connections, so yes use these for the best picture quality from your DVD player. You can get quality cables from Ixos or QED, or get them from the US like I did from www.bluejeanscable.com
