I'm looking at connecting our DVD Player/Recorder to our TV and was just wondering if I could use my good quality video cables that are coloured Red/White/Yellow for the connection?

I know that the Component colours are different Y, Pb & Pr but as long as I match for instance Red of the video cable to Y at both ends of the DVD and TV surely it would work?

    Any advice would be great.

    I think you'll be OK.
I'm working on the assumption that they're all shielded, so even the red and white should be 75ohm(ish), which is what you want :smashin:
