    Hi guys, i am after a sub £100 component cable. Will be using it on my panasonic AE100. Need appox 7 metres. Any advice on which1 will be best for the job. The cheaper the better. 1 i saw is the sudioquest 1. Any experiences with this?

    keep in mind that the longer the cable the better the quality should be....7m is pretty long

    good link though kismet hadn't come acros those guys before..looks good!

    How does that work? I would have thought the longer the cable the more chance of signal degradation!? :confused:

    Hence why mep suggested to counter the degradation (to some extend) by using a high-quality cable:
    "keep in mind that the longer the cable the better the [cable] quality should be....7m is pretty long"

    Mark Grant does some excellent hand built cables in the Power Buy section on these forums and I'd suggest VanDamme Red Series Multicore as an alternative.
