Hi, I've just bought a Toshiba 32zp46 & it's arrives on Tuesday! Looking for a decent component video lead to connect it to my Sony DAVS-888. Any suggestions one a decent cable that wont break the bank? No more than say £50. I've been looking at the QED range, are they any good? What about Monster cables also?

As I'm not fully clued up on all this AV business, is a component lead all you need to connect the DVD player to the TV? Also, would upgrading the scart lead improve the Sky+ picture?
    Thanks :smashin:

Also, does anybody have a suggestion on a decent scart lead for connecting a Sky+ box? Do I need an RGB one? I haven't a clue about these things!

I ordered a QED Quontour P-CV1 component lead and a QED AV2110 scart, cost £80 for both of them. Hopefully they'll be worth the money!

    Hi Mcguire76,
Where did you get your QED P-CV1 from? I am currently looking at the Profigold PGV332 c.£20 on some web sites. I am in the same dilemma regarding wanting a good component lead but not to spend too much (ps: have you notice a big difference using the QED P –CV1).

    Let us know. M
