What's the most outrageously priced -- and obviously super high quality ;) -- component cable anyone has seen.

Who makes it, and how much per metre?

Dunno. But the best conductor I think is Rhodium, insanely expensive. So any cable with Rhodium plated/Rhodium strands would be pretty expensive.

Rhodium costs about $1,000/troy oz.

How come you can spend £1000s on a mains lead, analogue interconnects, speaker cable; but not on component leads?
Because as audiophiles run out of stuff at CD, AMP Turntable & 2 speakers AVphiles or Videophiles heep going. where A (audiophile~) nutts spend £15K on a turntable, V (videophile) nuts are just getting into hi end CRT PJ its a case of where you waste your money. You can spend £100,000 on a S/H 35mm PJ if you want one. what can A spend £100,000 on in one go????? V can waste so much more money:D :D :D
