Anybody know where I can get a component cable for an HS1. I did a search through google and everywhere seems to be out of stock. As far as I am aware, it's the same component cable used with the HS10 - part number is SIC HS20...

ANY help would be SOME help...:smashin:

A "Sony Centre" or big Sony dealer would be your best bet - no one else (yet) makes/markets these proprietery cables.

Not cheap either - >£75 IIRC

Probably have to be ordered in too.

    Edit:

Oh......it's component to "PJ multi" you're after - they come with the HS10 :p Going to convert mine into scart RGB/PJ multi so I need it, but I'm sure a few HS10 owners won't have use for theirs - maybe worth a "wanted" in the FS forum.

Thanks for that - have posted a wanted in the classifieds...but don't want to jump into anything just yet as I'm not picking up my HS1 until first week in July. Anything could happen between now and then...£££ hopefully:boring:

    have them for £85.00.

Find the HS10 and the scroll down to the options.

I still think that this will end up cheaper than a Sony shop or Sony dealer.

make sure you shop around mate. Had a brief look and there are two for the HS1 from what can see. One just for component (HS20) and one for multiple connections like the one with HS10 projector (HS40). The standard cable is the HS10 which is around £40.
The component only one comes in at around £60 incl

Crazy money for what they are :(

The HS10 supplied cable is probably the best bet/value - extra s-video input could come in handy.

(slightly out mate )sorry but these guys have them for £59 + VAT although they do have a min order value of £100 or charge a £5 surcharge.
I'll keep looking. Also I'm looking to place a US order soon so if you dont have any luck I'll get you a price (must be cheaper).:)

Give Mcmillan (Sony supplier company) a ring 0208 751 3133, I have bought cables from them in the past for my HS1, very helpful guys.

BTW, if you're going to buy a cable, I would recommend the HS40 as that give more video connectivity. The HS20 has audio options, which I doubt you really need :)

    cheers
