Im new to the whole AV thing. I have a sony 32 lcd (KVD-M1 i think), which has one set of component inputs on the back. I have an xbox-360 already plugged into the component input but im about to buy a denon 2800mkii dvd player which ive been told (although getting dated) is good if hooked up through component to your tv.

problem is (if you havent guessed yet), how do i put two component (RGB ?) units into one ?

Is there a switch unit you can purchase as with scarts ? The tv does have several scart inputs as well as s-video (i think)

    any ideas ?

I was in the exactly the same position as yourself. I needed to plug my 360 and dvd into Hitachi plasma which also only has one component!

Solution: the master component controller from JS Technology. Only 55 notes and works perfectly. Handles the 360 high def modes with ease and also allows the 360 to act as master (if you use the DVD/Amp for 5.1 surround). Also is fully automatic and switches depending on what is being used.

    Hope this helps. (js-technology.com)
