The additional weight of the quad LNB installed for Sky+ drags the LNB arm down and so the dish is misaligned.

That'll be a free repair because it was the installer's fault.

sky gave me a real hard time about having it fixed and i know they are going to try and blame the tree outside.
have looked at the dish and the thing that they put on when i upgraded is wobbly and has cracked the arm on the dish !
are they obliged to fix it

My Sky+ installation has gone bonkers today for the 2nd time in 3 months.

I have 2 Sky+ boxes, both of them cannot pick up BBC2 and roughly every other channel there on.
1 of the boxes has lost all signal on input 2 (though if I reverse the connections then input 1 has no signal)

    I'm really cheesed off because:

    1) I have no terrestrial aerial... so I'm stuffed
    2) I'm paying sky a hell of lot of money every month
    3) I paid Sky £65 to fix a similar problem 3 months ago
    4) When I tried to ring them tonight (on a NATIONAL RATE number), the queue time was 21 minutes.... and its still 19 minutes now)

If it wasn't for the fact that the rest of my family depend on the ease of Sky+, I'd tell them to shove their service where the sun doesn't shine.

Bring on the Freeview Twin Tuner HDD/DVD machines, and Sky will lose most of their Sky+ subscribers... I practically guarantee it.
