As the title says I am looking for a replacement for my fantastic Sony KDL X3500 and would like to understand what modern Sony is the direct replacement.
I spoke to a Sony store who say the HX923, however I have been told the EX723 would also be comparible from somewhere else!
Obviously LCD and LED technologies differ so it is hard to directly compare however I have a HX723 in my bedroom which as it is edge LED doesnt seem as good colour and image quality.
Am I correct in thinking that full LED is the only way to go to get a comparison?
Are there any technical specs which will answer this once and for all with colour readings and image quality?
None of the internet or games connectivity is relevant, it is all about picture quality on HD and SD.
