Comparing Toshiba RD-XS32 with RD-XS34

I see that LE Concepts (www.leconcepts.com) have both of these. The 32 is £399.99, but the 34 is only £329.99. It has twice the HDD capacity, but only a 10-bit Video DAC - the 32 has a 12-bit DAC.

Using the product compare feature on the Tosh web site shows a bunch more features for the 34, but doesn't mention DAC bits.

Does this pricing look anomalous? Or perhaps LE Concepts have a spec (or price!) error? I would favour the 34 for its disk size and other features, but is the DAC difference something to worry about?

I think it's more likely that they don't even have the XS32 anymore and haven't bothered getting rid of the informnation on their website. As far as I'm aware it was discontinued just before the release of the XS34.

Take that comparison with a pinch of salt. Most of the things it leaves blank on the 32 where it ways yes for the 34, the 32 can do it.
