Can anybody recommend a company to use for printing digital photographs online? (Bonusprint, photobox, etc). Which company is suppose to be the best / offer the best service?

    Cheers,

    Ian

P.S. Don;t say print them yourself as I have to many I want to print.

    Thanks

Well everybody seems to sing the praises of photobox. I'd never say print them yourself it costs too much:laugh:

I've tried a few and photobox and Ofoto (from Kodak) are the best. I wouldn't reccommend Jesspos because the two orders I have had from them were dark and lacked colour sompared to the other two. A lot of places offer at least 10 free prints when you join up so it is a cheap way of finding out who you prefer.

I've used photobox and bonusprint and have to say there's very little to choose between them.

I've also used fotoinside but their photos seemed a little oversaturated.

Only used photobox, got some 30x20s, and some 18x12s, they all came out really nice picture quality wise. Although the paper they used seemed to be a bit less weighty than the stuff that comes out of the Agfa photo machine in the shop i use down my road, the quality when mounted seems to be similar :)

Must say I'm an advocate of DIY; Yup it costs but lets face it, out of a full film (flash card whatever) how many do you really (would you) want to print out? Not many I bet; so my philosophy is in being selective and only those pictures I feel really warrant being on paper are treated thus!(thus  I've reverted to a previous life sorry :D )

We had 50 prints done at jessops at the weekend as we got them free when we bought the S1. Got to say its much more fun seeing them on photo paper then screen. Had loads of pictures from my ixus 400 on my pc and and quite a few of from the S1.

We got some great pictures because the thing of course is with digital is you can redo a shot if its pants. Was nice showing everybody, cos most of the time they just stay on the pc, and many of the friends and family never get to see them.

Photobox for me - every time!

I have used them since they first started, service and quality is always excellent. I still remember receiving advice from the MD himself a while back! The photos are always delivered next day as long as I get the order in before lunch time.

When I got 20 from Jessops before I thought them to be a touch on the dark side :lesson:

Well i've never had any printed before, so i cant compare them to another printers. But they seem great to me. Having said that i would use photobox next time as online is just easier, jessops just let us have 50 free
