Just saw on Ceefax that third instalment (revolutions is it, can't remember) is slated for simultaneous release on IMAX format in November. Aparantly unlike AOTC it won't have to be trimmed as IMAX can now cope with 150 mins. I just hope it happens, the Imax in Bristol feels like it's still showing the same stuff it showed when it opened (although a quick check of their web site shows that they're having a manga season in May)

    Sounds promising

How much do IMAX cinemas normally charge for a film?

Bristol charges £6.50 for their standard films (usually about 1 hour) but if they get hold of this I wouldn't be surprised if they charged a tenner.

    Thanks for the info.

I'd be willing to pay £10 for an IMAX film like The Matrix sequels.

I've never been to an IMAX.

    What's so special about them?

The image is enormous (8 stories high) and pin sharp.

Might just have to go check that out :)

Do you not end up looking up for the whole film or are the seats far enough back to appreciate the fil without neck ache?
