That would be the TH-42PZ81B, as far as I know still available.
Or you could wait for the new models that should arrive the end of March.

i suppose it wouldnt kill me to wait.any info on whats new (improvement wise) on the newer models ? i think i might go pz80 and get sky hd/freesat hd separate box as the pz80 are a ridiculous price at the min.is the pz81 better than the pz80 ?

There's a little info here on the forum concerning the new models.
    Do a little search. ;)

    Better? IMHO, no.
Depends what you will be watching and viewing distance.

No, you're correct, PZ80 and PZ81 are same machine.

Actually they're not quite. Same panel, but PZ81 also offers a few extras such as picture in picture and the Cinema 24 etc. Seems to be inbetween PZ80 and PZ800. The Panasonic website shows this info if you do a compare. There are also quite a few threads discussing this on AVForums. I looked hard at a PZ81 as I always want the best of everything (within my scrooge budget of course- otherwise it would be Pioneer Kuros;)), and in the end was convinced by the comments on this site that it wasn't worth the extra. It was before Christmas as I think you could get it for £799 at JL but now well over the £1000.
