The ultimate box-set is coming!
Really good value too!
Mine's on order.
Mine too. Can't wait as some of the later ones I recorded and never got round to seeing.
Many Thanks Tony.A
Mines on order too !! Can't Wait !!
39 Episodes for £35 delivered........Bargain !!
superb. I was just talking about this last week and was about to transfer some of the episodes I have on VHS to DVD.....
Same price on Amazon as well. Having watched the recent re-runs on Paramount I think there will be a couple out of this box-set that are a bit more miss than hit, but the others more than make up for it. It's worth £35 any day for this amount of episodes
Agreed - quite a few duff ones there - but also some real gems.
As I have nearly completely worn out my VHS copy of Mr Jolly Lives Next Door, I would pay £35 for that alone!
Mine arrived this morning....... that's my whole weekend taken care of now
My box-set arrived this morning too !!
Packaging is well thought out, only had chance to have a quick flick at what's on offer, good stuff.
At least it can replace my very worn-out VHS recordings, and after waiting about 17 years to see "Mr Jolly Lives Next Door" it's well worth waiting for. Because the tape broke a few weeks after recording that episode !!
I did get a chance to watch the first 5 mins "M.J.L.N.D", and that must of been the seed for the "Bottom" series ?? Looks so much like it.
Shame a few of the episodes like "More Bad News" are still bleeped 'tho ??
The bleeping was deliberate as it was supposed to be about a documentary crew filming the band.
Just watched Eddie Monsoon - "My hobbies are drinking, smoking, swearing and Grouse shooting" classic.
Ah ok, thanks for that tip John.
Sparetime is limited at the 'mo (Building & Decorating), so i'll have to add the DVD's to the "To be watched pile" and then there's "Live8" on today too !!
But then i only want to watch "Pink Floyd" and i'm not that interested in the other bands. (I'm sure the DVD will be out in a few months, plus BBC 6Music have the rights to replay some of the shows. So i'l listen to that instead.)
