I currently have at home on demo a Roksan Candy MkIII Integrated amp, which I have only spent a little time with but am seriously considering getting, the only issue is getting this and the sub-out from my AV amp into the ASW with only two inputs on the ASW, I am considering using a ‘Y’ adaptor to combine the L & R into a single out, my only concern is that this is basically shorting out the L & R would this be an issue?

The other question is where can I get a good but cheap ‘Y’ adaptor? I have seen this but it is a little expensive http://www.hificables.co.uk/Product...D/2378/v/68ec94d0-b318-4b19-903e-fa8f0cefa482

I think you'd be OK as the 2 channels are the same source impedance and they would simply sum to mono, but would it be possible to do this using the AV amp (in unity gain mode)? I'd prefer that option if was available.

All kit including the AV amp would be off if I was listening in stereo, I wanted to be able to have different sub levels between stereo use and AV use, I was going to use the AV sub setting to do this.
