Heres a weird one - I have the HTPC using an XCard for DVD output and RAdeon/SB5.1 for PC output. Can I combine the SPDIF outputs somehow so I only use up one of my digital inputs on the amplifier?

Does the SB live card have internal digital connector input?

And does the Xcard have a internal digital connector output?

You could then send audio from the Xcard into the SB Live, then only require a single coaxial SPDIF cable out from the SB Live to the AV Amp.

Ah ha!! Excllent - but it'd be the other way round methinks. SB Internal SPDIF out to XCard internal SPDIF in. What cable do I need ot keep quality reasonable?
