    Can anyone recommend a decent quality TV-video combination.
    I'm after the best quality picture with teletext.
    It is for my 8 year old god son so it needs to be well put together.
    Budget is £150.
    :)

    ive had a couple of the philips ones and they have always been very good.

    TV for an 8yr old - give him a book and a candle to read it by ;)

    My brother (36) and I (32) had a chat about that.
    When I was that age we were lucky enough to get black & white set between us. Kids these days have it all.;)

    I've had problems with a couple of Philips vhs combis. The geometry was awful - logos were almost totaly off screen on one as the vertical position was so bad. Philips were truly abysmal to deal with.

    Daewoo 20" at tesco £160 ish or 14" for £130. LG also do a (did) some ok combi machines.
