I have noticed a few times that after a while playing a game or watching a film on my PS3 the colours go weird. For instance, when I am playing F1 the blue of the Renault turns pale green and the reds go pale orange!!!!
If I restart the PS3 all is fine but this is annoying me now. I am using a component cable which I used on my PS2. Anyone else noticed this?

I would reseat the connections and then if at all possible try a different cable to rule that possibility out.

There is a chance that the graphics card in the PS3 is faulty, and if this happens as a game progresses then that would increase the chances of this being the case. Is there any on screen corruption at all ?

My test PS3 at work does this. I have to use sticky tape to keep the cable in place :rotfl:
